FAQ
The 50mm frameless motor has an outer diameter of 50mm and is composed of only two separate parts: the stator coil and the permanent magnet rotor. It has no housing, bearings, or output shaft. It does not include encoders, drivers, bearing seats, and needs to be integrated by the customer into the equipment housing. A large and hollow through-hole is reserved at the center to facilitate the passage of wires, optical paths, and pipelines.
1. Smaller size, lighter weight by over 30%, and higher power density;
2. Direct drive without gears, zero backlash, and higher positioning accuracy;
3. Hollow structure makes it convenient for equipment wiring and pipe installation;
4. The stator can better dissipate heat by adhering to the equipment casing;
5. It can be fully integrated with the overall machine structure for an integrated and compact design, suitable for robot joints and narrow spaces of pan-tilt devices.
Absolutely. This model is a direct-drive torque type brushless motor, with high torque output at low speed. It eliminates the gear transmission structure, eliminating issues such as gear clearance, wear, and noise; it is suitable for scenarios with high requirements for positioning and stability, and does not require a matching reducer.
Standard in-stock products support 24V and 48V DC; non-standard customization is available for 12V and 36V. It supports fixed stator stack thickness, KV value, continuous/peak torque, lead-out length; optional built-in thermistor overheat protection, Hall position sensor to meet different load speed requirements.
It is mainly used in collaborative robot joints, humanoid robots, camera stabilization gimbal, medical minimally invasive surgical instruments, semiconductor inspection rotating platform, small precision CNC rotating shafts, exoskeleton equipment, optical stabilization module and other compact high-precision devices.
Assembly requires matching tooling. The stator is fixed in the equipment housing, and the rotor is fixed on the customer's output shaft. The coaxiality requirement for the two is high; the outer ring of the stator and the inner hole of the rotor are precision processed, with a tolerance standard of H7; during installation, avoid forcefully hitting the permanent magnet rotor to prevent the magnetic steel from falling off; the stator winding should avoid being compressed and torn.
It needs to be paired with a dedicated DC brushless servo driver that supports sine wave control. During purchase, we can provide parameters such as motor back electromotive force and phase resistance. We can recommend suitable driver models. There are two control schemes: Hall with sensing and Hall without sensing. For high-precision scenarios, it is recommended to pair with an external encoder.
Full specification OEM customization is supported. You can modify the windings, outlet terminals, sensor layout, and external installation dimensions. Standard samples can be dispatched within 1-3 days. Non-standard samples with modified magnetic paths and stack thickness may take 10-15 days. For bulk orders, the delivery date can be negotiated. We also support foreign trade batch branding.
It has no gears or carbon brushes, so it can last for tens of thousands of hours under normal cleaning conditions. It requires almost no maintenance, only regular checks on the insulation of the outlet connectors. To avoid direct attachment of dust, oil, and moisture to the stator windings, custom insulation-enhanced models can be provided for humid environments to enhance protection.
